General rules of play

By placing a bet with us you accept these rules, our Terms and Conditions, and the rules of the game you are playing. Where a game's own rules cover a point in more detail, those rules apply to that game.

  1. You may hold one account only. Duplicate accounts are closed, and play on them may be voided.
  2. Play is open to customers aged 18 or over who have completed our account checks.
  3. Bets may be placed with real-money funds or with bonus funds, depending on the balance in play at the time. Where both are available, the cashier and the game show which balance is being used.
  4. A bet is final once it is placed and confirmed. We cannot cancel, change or refund a bet because of a mistaken stake, a mis-click or a change of mind.
  5. Stakes leave your balance at the moment the round starts, and any return is credited when the round settles.

You are responsible for every bet placed from your account, including bets placed by anyone you allow to use your device or your log-in details. Keep your password private and log out on shared devices.

How bets and spins are settled

Every outcome is produced on the game server, not on your device. The result recorded by the game server is the official result of the round. If what you see on screen differs from the server record, for example after a slow connection or a refreshed page, the server record stands.

Slot and instant games use a random number generator. Card and table games use either a random number generator or a physical deal, depending on the game. Outcomes are independent of one another: a previous result has no effect on the next one.

  • The paytable, rules and help screens inside each game form part of these rules for that game.
  • Winning combinations, side bets and feature rounds pay exactly as set out in that game's paytable.
  • The return-to-player figure is published in the information screen of each game. It is a long-term theoretical average across a very large number of rounds, not a statement about any single session.
  • Maximum payouts for a round or a feature are those shown in the game's own rules and in the limits shown in your account.
  • Where a round is still open when you close a game, it is completed when you next open that game, or settled automatically where the game allows.

Malfunctions and interrupted play

A malfunction means any fault in the game software, the game server, the connection between them, or the way a round is displayed, that causes a round to behave other than as the game's rules set out.

  • A malfunction voids all pays and all play in the affected round or rounds. Stakes taken for a voided round are returned to the balance they came from.
  • Where a round has settled incorrectly, we correct the settlement and adjust the balance accordingly, in either direction.
  • If you are disconnected part-way through a round, the round is held open and resumes from the same point when you log back in, or it is settled on the server using the result already produced.
  • We may suspend a game while a fault is being looked into, and reopen it once the fault is fixed.

Please do not keep playing a game that is behaving oddly. Close it, note the time, and tell us, so that the round can be traced in our records.

Playing with bonus funds

Bonus funds, free spins and any other promotional credit are governed by the terms of the promotion they came from, by our general bonus terms, and by these rules.

  1. A maximum stake per spin or hand applies while a bonus or an unfinished wagering requirement is active. The figure is set out in the terms of the promotion and in the cashier.
  2. Games contribute to wagering requirements at different rates, and some games do not contribute at all. The contribution table in the bonus terms applies.
  3. Where both real-money and bonus funds are available, the order in which they are used is the order shown in the cashier.
  4. Bets that break a bonus term, such as an oversized stake or play on an excluded game, may be voided, with any winnings from them and the bonus itself removed.
  5. Bonus funds, free spins and bonus winnings expire at the end of the period stated in the promotion.

Patterns of play designed to clear a wagering requirement without real risk, such as covering opposing outcomes on a table game or placing bets that cancel each other out, are not accepted. Where we find them, the bonus and any winnings from it may be removed.

Live casino and table games

Live tables are hosted by a dealer and streamed to your device, with bets placed through the on-screen interface. Each table carries its own help screen setting out the rules of that game, the bet types, the payouts and the table limits.

  • The dealer's call is final at the table. Where a call is questioned, the recording of the round and the server record settle the point.
  • Bets must be placed and confirmed within the betting window shown by the countdown. Late or unconfirmed bets are not accepted, and the stake stays in your balance.
  • If the dealer makes an error in dealing, spinning or paying, the round may be voided and stakes returned, or the settlement corrected, in line with the rules of that table.
  • Minimum and maximum stakes differ by table and by bet type, and are shown at the table and within the limits shown in your account.
  • Side bets, insurance and other optional bets settle under the table's own rules, independently of the main bet.

Chat at a live table is moderated. Please keep it civil. We may mute chat or withdraw access to it where messages are abusive, while your play continues as normal.

Questions and disputes about a round

If you believe a round has settled incorrectly, please contact us as soon as you can. The sooner we hear from you, the easier the round is to trace.

  1. Look over the game's paytable and rules, and the play history in your account, which shows each round, the stake and the amount returned.
  2. Write to support@casinodavincigold.co.uk, or use the live chat on the site, giving the name of the game, the date and time of the round including your time zone, and the round or transaction number where the game shows one.
  3. We check the round against the server records and reply with what those records show. Our records of a round are the final basis on which a dispute is settled.
  4. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, our complaints procedure sets out the next steps, including escalation outside the business.

We hold a gaming licence and verify accounts as part of normal play, so proof of identity or of ownership of a payment method may be requested while a disputed round is being looked into.
